“Remember Me” is my first encounter with Sophie Kinsella, famed author of the Shopaholic series. I didn’t have second thoughts about buying this because I knew for a fact that the Shopaholic books are certified bestsellers. This book kept me company on the very late nights of (Good) Friday and (Black)Saturday before Easter. I did finish the book in two nights, not counting the few minutes I was able to steal while inside a moving car.

Unfortunately, the book didn’t quite excite me as I hoped and thought it would. I could hardly be considered a book critic because my reading repertoire during my younger years were limited to romance novels…and of late, children’s book, cookbooks and a few metaphysical ones. Hee hee! But I do think I know my way around romances. I specially like them to give me tickles, goosebumps, butterflies in my stomach and everything else associated with sappy love stories. Hee hee!

While I did manage to finish the book in two sittings, it was out of an urgent need to get it over and done with and to get myself out of my misery as quickly as possible. Next time, I’ll probably just stick to the best sellers…at least, where Sophie is concerned.

Have a great week, everyone! Oh yeah, I have another WS entry here. :)

We all know that we need to get more links from one another. So join this linker chain!

* To get more more traffic.
* To increase technorati authority.
* To get more back links.
* To gain more friends around the world.

Here are the Rules:

* First copy and paste the list below.
* Do not remove any content from the linker list.
* Just add One LUCKY NUMBER to your blogs.
* If you don’t like the concept…say no. :-/*

The main goal here is we are going to circulate our number of friends.

* The more people who will join the “LINKER CHAIN”, the more links we can
generate.
* Lastly, write only ONE LUCKY NUMBER for your blogs…
* Keep
it simple and short, I know some of you have more than one blog.
* The color
for the link should be only black, gray, or white, depending on your blog’s
theme. Please avoid using any color, ok ?
* Hundreds and thousands and millions only no more trillions …ok lets get started.

These viral links have been going around the blogosphere for some time now (like golf balls bouncing along aimlessly) and the people in my blogroll may have done these already. Nevertheless, I’m tagging the following:

Gracie, Rachel, Jen (Cellulitic Bliss), Jen (I Digress), Eileen, Happy, Julie (again, if you haven’t done the first one yet!) and Feng. :D

Ladies, if you’ve done any or both of the two, please let me know and I’ll just add your links. Is that fair enough? ;) Thanks! :D

Here’s another tag from Meeya. This was meant for Valentine’s Day, I think. Hee hee. Sorry, Mee! Anyway, here are the rules:

1. Post your photo wearing red, may it be a red top, bottom, the least would be red accessories if you hate wearing red… If you can’t find one, you still have an option…. Either post your Significant Other’s photo or your child’s photo, if you have one. Of course, they should be wearing red.

2. Let us know the reason why you were wearing red that particular day. Was it your birthday? Is red your fave color or was it the shirt that you first saw in your closet that day?

3. Tag 3 people close to your heart. By the way, they have to be in your blogroll. No cheating heart please.

Being the stagemom that I am, I would of course prefer to post photos of my Abby instead. :) These photos were taken on New Year’s Day, thus, the red outfit. Red is an auspicious color after all. :) When I first laid eyes on this dress at Macy’s, I thought right away that it’s so perfect for New Year’s. Hee hee.

The Christmas tree is a perfect backdrop, too, what with the gold and red theme going!

I just had to add another photo for this tag. This was taken at the Picture Company in December 2004. Abby was only 4 months old when this photo was taken. Since 2003, my side of the family always has our picture taken at a studio around Christmas time. :) Look at that, I just got homesick on my own doing.

There. Another tag down. Just a few hundred more to go. :D Feel free to do the this tag if you like red. ;)

This week’s photo hunt theme is “high”. Knowing the themes in advance is such a big help to me. I’m consciously and unconsciously looking for “subjects” (that is so pro sounding! hahaha!) that would be perfect for the themes.

The pictures here were taken at San Antonio Sea World (I have tons and tons of photos from Sea World!) on the first Sunday of March. At first, I was intending these photos for the theme “metal”. But I think they are more of a perfect fit for this week’s theme. :)

Who wants a rollercoaster ride?

*holds breath at this point in anticipation of a drop*

Wiiiiiiiii!!! :D

Nope, I didn’t go on the ride and my perfect excuse would be….no one will look after my daughter. Hahaha!

I have another high here. It’s chocolate heaven, I’m telling you! ;)

Have a fab weekend, y’all! :D
