This week’s photo hunt theme is “Self” and participants can choose to post a photo of themselves or a part of themselves.
My face is all over this site anyway so I chose to post a pic of a part of me instead.

I took this photo of my legs & feet while basking in the cool Manila Bay breeze at the poolside of the Philippine Plaza in February last year. This was at sundown. *sigh* I miss moments like this.
I have another photo hunt entry HERE. You can visit other photo hunters here.
Have a fantastic weekend!

A good number of my college friends went on to become practicing architects, designing homes and buildings from the inside out. Some, on the other hand, went into construction. I wonder if they’ve all heard about Shuttlelift, which has become the premier line when it comes to material handling equipment. They might have a need for a Straddle Crane. Shuttlelift’s cranes are supposed to be of the best quality they might as well be able to lift a shuttle.
This is my very first Photo Friday entry. When I received an email alert that today’s theme is “minimalism” I simply had to join because I already have a photo ready in my archives…

I took this photo in December last year. This is the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza in Downtown Dallas. This is a very minimalist structure, in shape and design. The architect is Philip Johnson, and he describes this work of his as: “a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth.”

I have a question. Would you ever consider plastic surgery to enhance your looks or to preserve your beauty for life? We all have our individual opinions about plastic surgery. I, for one, am already satisfied with what I’ve got. This is it for me.
There are many, however, who are very open to the idea of plastic surgey. But before you or anyone you know, make any drastic decisions, there is an on-line quiz that you can take, the Beauty For Life Quiz. The result of this quiz is supposed to lead to your Beauty for Life Plan. The quiz matches information about your age, appearance, beauty regimen, lifestyle, and body image with facts and images that can show you how to look your best throughout your lifetime. If you’re willing to go under the knife, you might as well exert the extra effort to be sure you’re getting things done in all the right places.
I wonder how I’ll do in this quiz. Hee hee!
This is the second installment of my trip back in time…4 years ago, to what is referred to as the Philippines’ Queen City of the South, Cebu. In case you missed the first part, you can find it HERE.
To continue…

We stayed at the Shangri-la Mactan Island Resort. Too bad for hubby, because he had to work all the time, while my Mom, Abby and I spent all our time just chillin’. Hee hee. Times like this don’t really come by often.

Abby, as always, got royal treatment. She got massages from her Mimi.

Most of the time, I took pics of Abby. We covered practically every corner of our room.

While my Mom read the dailies at the balcony, Abby kept her company.

We rarely left the hotel except for meals in nearby restaurants and a trip to SM when my Mom’s friend invited us for dinner. The hotel has a shuttle bus which took guests to the city.

Here are hubby and Abby at the hotel lobby.

The hotel had an enormous Christmas tree at the lobby. We took a couple of pictures here, of course! Hahaha.

Nope, I didn’t get a massage.
I did want to get one, but Abby and I are practically stuck with each other.

We didn’t do any swimmig, too. Hee hee. I know what you’re thinking….”What a waste!”. Not really. For once, we were able to enjoy staying in a hotel. The breeze, fresh air and the view were just glorious. No need to swim really. Haha.

Everyday, we soaked in the view of the white sands, the sound of the waves, and just about everything that’s missing in Manila.

There’s nothing wrong with the camera.
While we were taking pictures at the hotel grounds, dark clouds caught up with us and it started to drizzle.

This is us on the flight home. For almost three years, this blue nursing bib, which I alternated with a red one, was a constant part of my wardrobe. Anytime, anywhere, I’m ready to nurse.
We didn’t really get to see much of Cebu during that trip, but we had fun just the same. Besides, we really chose to make the most out of our hotel stay, which wasn’t exactly cheap anyway.
Where should I take you next? Hmmm.
