I have exciting news for podcasters, bloggers and web contents creators who are truly passionate about what they do.  From August 14 to 16, the 4th Annual New Media Expo 2008 will be held at the Last Vegas Convention Center.  It is a gathering of individuals that belong to either one of these groups: media creators; corporate content creators and marketers; media buyers, public relations firms and ad agencies;  and educators, universities  and institutions.  The organizers promise an exciting, practical and hands-on media event with practical conference sessions that covers topics such as how to: produce high quality on-line audio and video contents; grow a loyal audience and how to maket or monetize content in creative ways.  Approximately 3000 people are expected to attend.  Interested?  Go and register now!

 

Last Friday, my daughter handed me this nicely wrapped present when I picked her up from school.  I didn’t open it ’til yesteray morning after breakfast.

This is what’s inside.  Can you guess what this is?

It’s a memo holder and fridge magnet in one.  I immediately made space for it on our fridge. 

I saved the heart-shaped gift tag and stuck it on the corner of my computer screen.

The parish we go to also had a special something for all moms…long-stemmed roses.   I picked a white one, which is my old time favorite.

There’s still one other gift, but I have to wait a few more days to get my hands on it.  It won’t be out on the market ’til the 21st of this month.  Can you guess what it is?
