This is my very first Photo Friday entry. When I received an email alert that today’s theme is “minimalism” I simply had to join because I already have a photo ready in my archives…

I took this photo in December last year. This is the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza in Downtown Dallas. This is a very minimalist structure, in shape and design. The architect is Philip Johnson, and he describes this work of his as: “a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth.”

buti ka pa may pic kaagad na naisip, ako naghanap pa hehehe. from an architectural standpoint, minimalist nga pala itong memorial ni JFK no?
