Disney fans will be thrilled to know that Radio Disney will have a concert series in Wildwood, New Jersey next month!  If you haven’t finalized your summer plans yet, then going to New Jersey is an option you might want to consider.

July 7th, 14th and 21st are Magic Mondays.  Appearing live on Morey’s Piers are Radio Disney’s hottest musical artists.  The concert will take place at the Radio Disney stage next to the Giant Ferris Wheel on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing pier.  Best of all, these concerts are FREE!  Take note that show times are scheduled for 1 pm and 4 pm.

July 26th, Saturday is The Radio Disney Summer Concert Series finale and is scheduled for 2 pm.  It will be held at the Wildwoods Convention Center Oceanfront Arena with Raven-Symone from Disney Channel’s “That’s so Raven”. Mitchell Musso from the “Hannah Montana Show” will also be appearing on this 26th of July concert.  For this concert, you’ll have to buy tickets. :D

July 26th Concert ticket holders may enjoy super savings at Morey’s Piers from the time of purchase through July 27, 2008.  Morey’s Pierce, in case you didn’t know, is a great place for a vacation.  To enjoy your super savings, simply show your official July 26 Radio Disney Summer Concert Series finale ticket at Guest Services on Mariner’s Landing and receive $10 off an all-day waterpark ticket for either Raging Waters or Ocean Oasis, or $10 off an amusement pier wristband valid for all three of Morey’s Piers, or $15 off a one-day splash and ride combination ticket.

Other than the Radio Disney Concert Series, there are a lot of things to do in New Jersey.  And if, like us, you’ve already made plans for the summer, there are other Wildwood Events that you can enjoy at other times of the year and it’s never too early to plan this things.  At this time, you might already want to start checking out Wildwood NJ hotels.  It’s always best to plan head.

That’s all for now.  Enjoy the summer heat, everyone!

My Mom just adores the color yellow.  You, too?  Enjoy these flowers then!  I took these photos at the San Antonio Botanical Garden in January.  I hope we can go back one of these days.  All the beautiful flowers should be in full bloom now.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen this television commercial of a man who announces his social security number for the world to know.  Not only that, I’ve seen billboards and heard radio commercials, where again, he discloses the most private of numbers, his social security number.  I thought, of course, that this man is nuts.   He is Tod Davis, CEO of Lifelock

LifeLock, is in the business of proactive identity theft protection and offers solutions that prevent identities from being stolen before they happen.  The solutions include fraud alerts for their members and opting them out of pre-approved junkmail, thus limiting the credit bureaus’ ability to sell information.  Currently it has over a million subscribers who pay $10 a month.

Lifelock is currently going throuch “exciting times”, no thanks to Experian,  a credit-reporting agency, who is suing for deceptive practices, pointing out that the firm doesn’t offer people any more than they can get for free from Experian itself.  Experian is a virtual Goliath and Lifelock is David.  Lifelock claims that Experian is mad that LifeLock is costing them money by placing fraud alerts for members (it costs them money to set alerts).  But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind paying $10 a month for the security of my very own identity.  To tell you frankly, I am baffled at the rate at which identity theft occurs here in the US!  If I can easily splurge $10 dollars on otherwise unnecesarry purchases, why not for protection against identity theft?  Plus, I’ve had just about enough of junkmail.

In the Philippines, we call these “salakot“, a straw hat used by farmers to protect their heads from the harshness of the sun.  I took these pics at Panda Express last Sunday using my cellphone camera (Samsung SGH-Z560).  These hats were used as wall decor.  Nice touch.

Who do you take your hats off to?  For me, one would be people who are determined to secure a college degree, even through college education online.  The sense of accomplishment it brings a person is unparalleled. :)
