Last Saturday, we attended Abby’s school carnival in the morning, and her dance recital in the afternoon. One might think that would tire us. But no, we still found the time to go to our community’s main park. The sun was still out so there’s no reason to stay indoors. Hee hee.

Too bad it rained.  Abby had to be scooped up and was giggling in her Dad’s arms as we made a dash for the car.

I took this picture of Abby’s classmates at last Saturday’s dance recital with my hidden spy camera
.  Kidding.  Hee hee.  I used my usual photo taking apparatus, of course.   I was seated right behind them and they all just looked adorable waiting to go up the stage again.  There was a short break after the ballet portion.  At this point, the stage was being readied for the tap portion of the recital.  All the girls looked lovely in their shiny pink leotards, frilly tutu and their princess crowns.  I am already looking forward to next year’s.

Abby has been attending weekly dance classes since September last year.  After nine months of classes, a year-end dance recital was held last Saturday.  It was last week’s highlight.   Hubby and I were the picture of very proud parents.  Hee hee.  I was only able to upload a few photos.  I just needed something to share for this week’s Weekend Snapshot.

The first two photos were taken at home after I dressed Abby up, a few minutes before we left for the recital venue.  The last photo was taken at the recital venue, while Abby and her group were waiting for their turn to dance.
