Early Friday evening, hubby, Abby and I went to The Domain, a rather high-end dining, shopping & entertainment destination here in Austin. We love coming here, primarily for Borders and to windowshop. 
Coming out of the parking building onto the main street, we were greeted by beautiful live music.
I used my old P&S camera to take pics. I would have wanted to sit on a bench and enjoy the music a bit longer. Then again, it was just too hot, which is why I found this…
…to be quite revolting. Whoever thought of this must have been drunk and deserved to be whacked with a wine rack. I just don’t get it. We are in Texas. And while winters here are known to be mild, the same can’t be said about the summers. I get that the fire adds drama to this nice little spot, but… Oh, forget it!
Anyway, this made me feel better…
Hee hee. When we were, uhm, warm enough (do you detect the sarcasm?) we headed to Borders so we can keep cool.
