This week’s Photo Hunt theme is “beautiful”. And when I think beautiful, Abby, my daughter, is the first to come to mind. That will always be the case. So this is another stagemommy entry for me. Hee hee.
This is a photo from Abby’s very first photo shoot, taken about a month after she was born.

And here is a photo collage from that same photo shoot.

Abby is no longer a baby (but she will always be to me!), but still as beautiful as ever.

I have an edible beautiful for my other Photo Hunt entry. Visit other photo hunters here.
Have a great weekend, y’all!
There are now two must-haves for students of this generation: computer access and high speed internet connection. Come to think of it, these are must-haves for almost everyone! This blogger included! The internet is best experienced when one has high speed connection. It allows you to do more faster - faster downloads, faster searches, etc. I’ve experienced using dial-up a couple of years ago and after I switched to high-speed, life online was never the same again. There was no going back for me!
If you’re still searching for the best high speed internet deal, then I’ve got news for you. Charter Communications offers three great services online: Charter High-Speed Internet at $19.99/mo for 6 months, Charter Digital Home and High-Speed Internet at $69.98/mo for 6 months or Charter Digital Home, High-Speed Internet, and Charter Telephone at $99.97/mo. for 12 months. Order any one of these and you are automatically entered into the Charter Laptop-a-Day Giveaway.

Up for grabs for 30 days are 30 HP Compaq Presario C770US Laptops valued at $600. The first winner will be announed two days from now, September 1st! As if that’s not enough, all online orders will also receive a Shell gas card valued up to $100. Who can say no to that?
Aren’t these the best back-to-school deals? So hurry, get faster connection and a chance at a spankin’ new laptop!

I love this meme, which was passed on to me by, guess who…Meeya. :D One, it’s simple. And two, I have another convenient excuse to post one of my favorite Abby and me photos.

This is our first formal portrait together, taken when Abby was about a month old. The photo just screams “new”: new baby, new mommy, new relationship, new experiences and challenges, new everything. :) Abby is now 4 years old. I sometimes find it hard to believe that she was ever so small…so fragile. So much has changed and changes will continue to happen. But Abby will always be my baby.
I am passing this on to Carol, Feng and Rachel.
“Every step I took since the moment I could walk was a step toward finding you.” Aaaawwww. *swoons* How sweet was that?! So I’m a sucker for cheesy lines! I’ve always been a hopeless romantic. Would you have fallen for that line? Would you have known it was from the movie, Message in a Bottle. ;) I think the line may actually have a lot of potential if used in real life. Here’s another question for you, would you ever use a romantic Hollywood movie line on a girl? Come on, I can keep a secret!
But before you do, try out the lines you know by taking the Ultimate Flirting Championship by Extreme Style by VO5. See for yourself first if they will work like a charm and score you Victory Hair.
This girl, in case you’re visiting this site for the first time, is my daughter, Abby.

These are Hubby and Abby…

This is Abby and Me…

So, whose “Mini Me” is Abby? Hubby’s or mine?
These photos were taken on August 17th, Abby’s birthday, at Chuck E. Cheese’s.

My Mom is not the biggest fan of cold weather. And it is a known fact among people close to her that she has a low threshold for low temperatures. I can still vividly recall that one day in May, not too long ago, when we had a picnic in a San Francisco park with our LA-based relatives. My Mom wrapped a full-sized blanket around her just to keep herself warm and proceeded to eat her sandwich…as if it were the most normal thing in the world! Not a very fashionable sight, I tell you! But that’s just my Mom, she’ll pick comfort over fashion anytime!
She constantly travels for business purposes, too, and I’ve been blessed to have been able to join her one too many times. If not for the blankets provided by the airlines, I don’t know how she’d survive even a short flight! Unfortunately, blankets and pillows seem to be missing in most flights lately.
I’m thinking a Cabin Cuddler will be a perfect gift for my Mom. It is the trendiest travel blanket to hit the known universe. :D It comes with a pillow, too and it’s own reversible bag, which doubles as a pillow case!

This take-anywhere and take-everywhere blanket comes in two colors: black and cranberry. My Mom can now keep herself warm in comfy in a car, aircraft, the park, her office, anywhere! I might as well get one for me, too!
I got this tag from my bossom tag and all-around-buddy, Meeya. Thank you, Mee!
Rules:
1. List 6 things that describe yourself today.
2. Add your blog to the list. Feel free to add all your other blogs.

The day will draw to a close in about two hours. I am…
thankful…I always am…for the unexpected blessings I received (does LinkNerve ring a bell?).
looking forward to tomorrow when Hubby comes home from his business trip.
cramming to finish two more opps so I can call it a night.
unable to resist plurking. I am now addicted!
determined to be out of the house before 7:40am so Abby will be in school by 8am. We’ve been successful since Monday! Yey!
tired because of utter lack of sleep.
