Are there still a lot of vehicles without power steering here in the US?  Yes?  Oh my!  Have mercy on the arms of the drivers of these vehicles!  I know from experience how extremely diffiult it is to drive a car without power steering capability.  It’s horrible!

If you feel you’ve had just about enough of driving without steering power, now would be a good time to visit Power Steering Pros. You can buy steering parts, which were only available from dealers before, at affordable prices.  Their power steering racks and boxes are of the highest quality.

Reward yourself with the driving comfort that power steering brings.  Taking care of your vehicle’s steering systems is tantamount to taking care of yourself!

I’ve been a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) for a year and a half now.  In that length of time, I’ve had quite a number of kitchen nightmares. I’ve had several cooking projects, the result of which, I didn’t like at all.

The first time I made leche flan, the finished product looked like this.  It was a total disaster, at least, as far as looks are concerned. ;)  It did taste good though!  Promise!

I have another failed leche flan story.  I tried to make leche flan using only organic ingredients and purely egg yolks.  It took forever for the leche flan to cook.  After waiting for so long, I gave up and decided to just scoop out the flan from the molds and transferred them to small glasses.  They gelled a little after they were refrigerated.  At least, it didn’t go to waste.  It tasted good, as it should!  Organic ingredients are quite costly, you know! :D

Because I used purely egg yolks for the leche flan in the 2nd photo, I had a lot of egg whites, which I didn’t want to go to waste.  So I made them into meringues.  While the finished products was generally ok, I wasn’t 100% percent satisfied.  I knew they could look better!

These are just three of my failed projects in the kitchen. :)

May isa pa akong ayaw DITO.

Happy Huwebes!

That’s the state of my vision at present, if not better.  I remember having 20/15 vision at one vision test.  But this wasn’t always the case.  I was born with nearsightedness and astigmatism and had been wearing contacts since I was 9.  It all changed when, at the age of 21, my Mom gifted me with such a wonderful gift (she always gives me wonderful gifts, by the way!), corrective laser eye surgery.  You won’t believe how this has changed my world!  The feeling of being able to see the world clearly without the aid of contacts or glasses was just indescribeable. It was a surreal moment for me.  I never thought it would be possible!

I can actually be a poster girl for laser eye surgery!  Hee hee!  :)  I highly recommend this procedure because I have undergone it myself.  I understand the fears of many: infections, blindness, etc.  True, there are risks, just like with any other surgery.  But the percentage and chances of something going wrong is very miniscule.

Everywhere in the world, there is an expert performing this surgery.  There is laser eye surgery Melbourne (Vista Eyes are your eye specialists in Australia!), the Philippines, the US, everywhere!  So if you have the means, I urge you to go for it!  I have friends who have done it and are very pleased with their now perfect vision.  You deserve to see clearly, too! ;)

Last Saturday, we celebrated Abby’s birthday with a party at Pump It Up.  The kids had loads of fun jumping on giant inflatables and going through, climbing up and sliding down obstacle courses.

Abby, princess everyday but was a doubly extra special princess last Saturday.

Family Pic

We were able to enjoy private time in two bounce-house filled rooms at 40 minutes each.

That’s Abby in blue with her friends.  And that’s Hubby shaking them!

Abby had a Disney Princess birthday cake, my other WW entry.  View other WW participants here.

Happy Wednesday!

The Great White is one of Sea World’s monster of a roller coaster.  From the looks of it alone plus the deafening shrieks of the people who dare ride it, I can tell it’s one heck of a fun ride.

If you want a good stress-relieving scream, specially those of you going back (or have already gone back!) to your mba programs this school year, this ride will be just right for you! :)

Hubby and I have yet to try this ride, or any of the Sea World roller coasters.  Neither one of us want to take turns going on the ride while the other looks after Abby.  Riding a coaster with a stranger next to you isn’t exactly my idea of fun.

It will be a while before we can enjoy this ride as a family…

Hee hee! :D

I’m happy to share that my food blog, Cafe Munchkin,  is one of two feature Weekenders at Weekend Snapshot this week. It’s a first for me and I’m feeling giddy about it. :)

I have another WS entry here, our dinner at Kim Phung.

Have a wonderful week!  :D

I prepared these loots for my daughter’s birthday party which is just a few hours from now.  As much as I can, I tried to keep a princess theme going, a request from my 4-year old Abby.

However, I can’t very well do the same for the boys’ loots.

It kinda bothers me that it looks like the boys have more loots than the girls.  Actually, the girls have more, only they’re a little too dainty and tiny (rings, necklaces, hair accessories, et.c)  that they easily fit into the cups. :D

I specially like wrapping giveaways this way…in a see-through cellophane wrap/bag with the opening wrinkled or bunched together and tied with ribbons.  I didn’t have time to use and tie curly ribbons.  I just opted for the silver wire-like ties that came with the bags. :D

I have wrinkled food for my other PH entry.  Visit other PH participants here.

It’s good to be healthy, not only physically, but in all aspects of one’s life: financially, emotionally, etc.  Financial health is one aspect that greatly impacts one life.  An unhealthy financially, will cause one’s physical, emotional and psychological health to suffer and deteriorate as well.  I’m sure you know what I mean.

I’ve taken a lot of on-line quizzes ranging from the outrageous to the more informative ones.  One that I’ve apprciated taking is the the Bills IQ Quiz, which is supposed to assist one in the understanding of overall financial health and ways to improve financial score.

I took the quiz just a few minutes ago and I got a decent grade of 87%, a B.  I got a high score on Credit and Debt, both 93%, got 86% on Budet, 84% on welath, and an embarassing 77% for Life Plan.  That was kind of a wake up call for me. And I need to do something about it pronto!  Debt consolidation, Debt relief, and Debt help are things I wouldn’t want to deal with in the future or EVER.

How’s your Bills IQ?  Take the quiz.  The result might just surprise you!  You will definitely learn a lot.  Promise!
