On Labor Day, just as Hubby, Abby and I were getting ready to head back home after spending two hours at the community pool, I noticed a couple of bees having fun amongst some pink blooms.   It wasn’t too long ago when I posted photos of bees minding their own business amongst yellow flowers.  But I just can’t resist taking photos!  So I got my camera out and took plenty of photos.  Bees are very tricky subjects, you know!  Hee hee!

I didn’t mind that Hubby and Abby were growing impatient, waiting for me to finish.  I was having too much fun!  I only stopped when I caught a glimpse of a neighbor and her friend enter the pool area.  Hubby, Abby and I made our way to the exit faster than our neighbor can say life insurance quotes.  She’s an agent.  Shhh.

That’s what Abby told me when she was able to successfully do a “tattoo transfer” on her own.  Abby is crazy about tattoos.  I’m referring to the ones that you just transfer onto your skin simply by rubbing the image with a wet cloth.  It’s usually Hubby who does this for Abby.  I tried doing it several times when Hubby was away but I’m not always successful in transferring the entire image onto Abby’s body part of choice.  Hee hee.

That’s my girl…smart and independent!  And my I add flawless, too?!  Hee hee.  I hope  that unlike me, Abby keeps her flawless, complexion.  I realize she’s just 4, but then, there are girls who never had to bother with acne treatments.  Ever!  I hope Abby’s one of ‘em girls.

These are the loots that Abby gave away to her girl friends at her birthday party.  I tried my hardest to keep a princess theme going.  Inside these princess cups are sunglasses, a tiara comb, bead bracelet and necklaces, a wand 2 rings (one of which was a lip gloss), tattoos, a tracing template, a tiny deck of game cards and about 3 pcs. of candy.  I made totally different packages for the boys though.

Please pretend not to notice the clash of light fixtures behind Abby. I’ll be doing something about that. I’ll be rearranging/redecorating the house in the next few days.
