Tulad ng karamihan ng mga batang babaeng apat na taong gulang, mahilig sa mga prinsesa ang anak kong si Abby.  Hindi naman din nakapagtataka dahil prinsesa ang tingin namin sa kaniya ng aking asawa.  Siyempre, ang mga prinsesa ay may mga tiyara o korona.  Maraming laruang korona si Abby, may kulay ginto at may kulay pilak. Ngunit ang pilak na tiyarang ito ay espesyal dahil ginamit niya ito sa ballet recital niya noong Mayo…

Like most 4-year old girls, Abby is very fond of princesses.  She loves to pretend that she is one.  That doesn’t realy come as a surprise because to Hubby and me,  Abby IS indeed a princess.  Princesses have tiaras and crown.  And Abby has quite a number of them in gold and silver.  The silver tiara in the photo is more special than the others because she wore this for he ballet recital last May…

Noong nakaraang birthday party ni Abby, may maliliit na tiara combs sa lootbag ng mga batang babae.  Ang kyut, diba?

When Abby celebrated her birthday last month, the lootbags for the little girls included a tiny silver tiara comb. Isn’t it cute?

I know it’s too early to be wishing you “Happy Holidays”. It’s a cultural thing. Hee hee. Can you believe it’s September already?  It seems like it was just January yesterday!  Back home, in my beloved Philippines, the “ber” months mark the start of the Christmas season.  Believe it or not, as early as the 1st day of September, Christmas carols can already be heard.  How I miss spending the holidays back home.  We were hoping to celebrate Christmas in the Philippines this year, but it looks like we’ll have to move our homecoming to next year. This early, I’m already browsing the pages of Doodlebugdezigns.com for Photo Christmas Cards ideas. What do you think of this design?

We sent photo Christmas cards of Abby to friends and family last year and we’ll most definitelydo it again this year.

Mammoth Mountains in California is a favorite winter destination.  It is all white in winter.  It is gorgeous nonetheless, even in summer.
