Good friends of Hubby’s and mine have finally decided to tie the knot. Well, it’s about time! The bride, whom I have know since we were in our teens is asking for my help with the Wedding Announcement. I went to work right away and so far, my favorite is Photo Affections.  They have very stylish and competitively priced Wedding Announcement cards as well as birth announcement and holiday photo cards.  Another reason why I warmed up to this printer quite easily is that they are based in Texas.  Call if home court advantage if you will!  Hee hee.  ;)   We hope to make our final design choice over the weekend.  Ahh, weddings.  I just love ‘em! :D

We stayed at the posh Westin Monache when we went to Mammoth, California two months ago.  It was a welcome change from our usual Hampton Inn.  Hee hee. :D

We were greeted by the nice cool mountain breeze.  I regretted not bringing a sweater.  You have to understand, we came from Texas and to even think about a sweater in the dead of summer is deemed sacrilegious. :D

My cousin booked a 2-bedroom suite.  I could have sworn that my jaw dropped the moment I got a glimpse of our accommodations.  There was a cozy living room with fireplace, a dining room that seats 6, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher.

We were supposed to only spend one night at the Westin Monache, but our gracious hosts changed their minds when they saw how beautiful our accommodations turned out to be.  In-house coffee, might I add, is Starbucks.  Coffee was decaf but I couldn’t care less.  Hee hee.

Hubby, Abby and I were assigned the master suite.  We protested of course, but we were ignored.

Every room has a tv which could have easily fit inside a suitcase.  Not that they are small but because they are flat. :D

I love a beautiful, spacious and spotless bathroom. :)

The master bathroom could have been another room.  It was huge!

If I remember correctly, the rate for this room is $270.++.  The rate goes waaaaaay up in the summer time.  The very same room will cost between $600 and $700 come ski season.  Whew!

I could have stayed there forever.  Hee hee.  We thank our relatives for spoiling us rotten. :D
