That’s who my daughter was hell bent on being for halloween. I didn’t know where she got the Supergirl idea because there isn’t even such a show on tv. Hee hee!

While shopping for shower faucets at Walmart in early October, we decided to take a look at the costumes. I tried to convince Abby to be someone else for Halloween…Batgirl perhaps, which I thought was a far more exciting costume.
But Abby has made up her mind. She was going to be Supergirl. Period.

I gave her another week to change her mind. She didn’t. So back to Walmart we went, which was selling the Supergirl costume $10 cheaper than Target. My heart raced a little when I couldn’t find the costume in Abby’s size. Thank goodness we found one towards the back of the rack. Whew!
Abby loved her costume. Supergirl becomes her. That much is obvious from the pictures.
I’ve got Eggless Banana Muffins, for my other Weekend Snapshot entry.
Have a great week ahead!

once a child has set her mind on something, it would be very hard otherwise to convince her to change her mind…Your daughter made a lovely supergirl…
