My mouth still waters every time I think about our Thanksgiving dinner feast. More so when I look at the photos! What a feast it was! There was definitely no room for appetite suppressants, that much I can tell you. I just wanted to eat as much as I can! You would, too had you been on my seat at the dining table! Hahaha!
Let me tease you with a photo…
I’m already looking forward to next year’s feast!
I didn’t know that there was such a thing as a Masters of Science in Information Security until I was asked to look into Lewis University, which offers the course online.
I have a number of friends who are in the IT field, some of whom are graduates of Catholic universities in the Philippines, one of which is De La Salle University (DLSU). The DLSU grads would be happy to know that Lewis Univeristy is a Catholic and La Sallian university!
I am all for continuing education. When I was in college, I planned on taking a master’s degree. But I was led to a different “calling”. Anyway, anyone who has the opportunity to advance in his field should grab it, be it through a master’s degree or other training courses. Almost always, however, money and lack of time are the reasons one can’t go for it. The option to take a master’s degree online is definitely a convenient and more affordable option.
It’s safe to say that Information Security Masters are in demand right now, or at least well on their way to being such. Technology is advancing at a pace that we could barely keep up with it. With technological advances come a lot of challenges, one of which is security. And becoming a Master of Information Security is an option IT professionals should look into.
One word of caution, be sure to learn as much as you possibly can about the university (online and otherwise) you intend to enroll at…the teaching staff, accreditation, etc. Hopefully, that will keep you from wasting precious time and money.

My One and Only celebrated his birthday last week, Thanksgiving week. Hubby’s birthday always makes Thanksgiving week even more special than it already is. We had a rather simple celebration, just a family dinner accompanied by a bottle of red wine for hubby and me to share (none for the little girl, of course!).
I always have the hardest time finding hubby a present. But this year, I knew exactly what I wanted to get him. Not car accessories, silly! He won’t enjoy it until January though…which is when we say hello to Kobe. And no, I don’t mean the beef. Hee hee.

Wherever you are, whether you’re enjoying your myrtle beach vacation rentals or basking in the glorious sun in a tropical island somewhere, I hope you take a moment to count your blessings. I do…always! And there’s just too much, too many blessings to be thankful for. The best part? The best is yet to come! Now ain’t that grand?
Thank you, God, for the many wonderful blessings and miracles you untiringly bestow upon us every day.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Yesterday evening, my little girl and I found ourselves on another date night. It was “Eat Out Night” at her school. It is a fund raising event where families are encouraged to patronize a specific dining establishment and part of the sales from diners who mention the school’s name are donated to the school.

We had a simple dinner. Just cheese quesadilla for Abby and veggie flatbread for me…so no need to bring out the adipex diet pills…yet. Then again, it’s Thanksgiving next week, which is when holiday food bingeing officially starts. Good luck to me.
