This is the gingerbread man that my little girl decorated in school last week.  A few days ago, she brought home a gingerbread man ornament for our Christmas, something she made in school as well.  It smells soooo good!  I wanted to make more gingerbread ornaments for our tree.  Because really, that one gingerbread alone made our artificial tree smell like Christmas!   And the Minka Aire need not be turned onto catch a whiff of the gingerbread! ;)

Almost every week since the week of Thanksgiving, we’ve been finding ourselves in fun fun feasts – from the most intimate (just family) to a full-blown Filipino fiesta.  By the time the holiday season is over, I’ll probably already be considering gulping down weight loss supplements.

It’s a cultural thing, I guess.  We love an excuse to get-together…an excuse to eat and be merry…to live, laugh and love.  In the middle of all these celebrations, let’s be sure to not forget THE reason for the season. ;)

Cheers!

My little girl admiring the LV window display. ;)

That, I’m guessing, is what every man must be thinking whenever they see their better half – girlfriend or wife – practically drooling in front of a Louis Vuitton window display.  Hee hee.  The purses, after all, cost more than a Samsung HDTV.  Then again, you can’t lug around an HDTV…nor can you watch the Superbowl on a Neverfull.  Hee hee.  But there are some girls, I’m guessing again, who would be happy to just sit and stare at their LVs the same way a man would be happy to just be glued to ball game on tv. ;)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.  That’s the mantra of the day as far as the kids and kids-at-heart here in Austin and its neighboring cities are concerned.  The heavens did heed our call and sent us flurries…a brief and light snowfall.

I had a blast playing like a little girl outside.  The real little girl was in school and herself had a blast. ;)

Overnight, a freeze is expected.  I wonder if motorhome towing services will be in demand tomorrow morning.

Keep warm and toasty, y’all!  And be safe!
