You don’t believe me? Here, see for yourself…
Hee hee.
This hour glass was in the loot bag my little girl got from a recent visit to the dentist. But seriously, time really IS gold. So live your life to the fullest and live each day as if it were your last. Don’t waste your time stressing on minor life glitches…if only because stress might just lead to female pattern hair loss.
Make time for people who and things that matter.
Last January 12th, Hubby and I finally got to watch our very first live NBA game. We drove to San Antonio, TX on a Tuesday night to watch the Spurs play against the LA Lakers. We cheered for the Lakers!
Hee hee. It wasn’t so bad going against the home-team cheering crowd. What was a big shame, however, was that the Lakers lost…by an embarrassing 20 points! Grrrr! If only I could get a refund for the tickets!
Kobe got injured towards the end of the 2nd quarter, left the court and never returned. *sigh* We learned later on that he twisted his ankle or something but was already well enough to play against the Dallas Mavericks the next day. I’m sure he was given the best care without any need forMedicare supplement insurance. We hope to watch the Lakers play again soon. And we hope the next time, they win…so we get what we paid for. Hee hee.
This is one of my favorite pics of Hubby and my little girl, taken in December 2007. It is one of three photos I posted on my very first entry on this blog (back in the day when I was just starting to learn the ropes of self hosting and free directory submission.) Fast forward to today, Hubby is still able to wear this jacket in the colder months. My little girl’s jacket, however, has already found a new user. Hee hee.
If only time would slow down just a tad. *sigh*
Now,
February next month marks my 2nd year of self-hosting my blog sites. I consider breaking away from free web/blog hosting a personal triumph. Why? Because I knew nothing about self hosting! Terms like seo tools and html were alien to me. I’m glad I was able to take the plunge with my friend Mrs. Working Girl (*waves*).
She patiently guided me through the ins and outs of self-hosting. Today, I’d still prefer not to tinker with my websites. It’s such a blessing that my webhost turned out to be an awesome choice.

…was one of the simplest yet sweetest, nicest, thoughtful touch a restaurant can add to a special occasion…
A simple greeting of “Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday” greeted our dinner party of four on the menu, that night we had a double celebration dinner at McCormick and Schmick’s. For that, I love McCormick and Schmick’s even more. It’s nice little gestures like this that set some restaurants apart from the rest. It brought smiles to our faces and to yours, too, if you were the ones celebrating a special occasion! You might even forget about you arthritis pain treatment for a few minutes!
I’m thinkin’ how soon we can go back to M&S. Valentine’s Day, perhaps? Hee hee.
