You better believe it!  We have a home salon…

I wonder what hubby’s thinking?  “How to prevent hair loss?” Hee hee.  My little girl received a salon showcase from Santa last Christmas.  It wasn’t exactly what she asked.  The one she really wanted was out of stock not being produced at that time according to Santa’s elves for, uhm, safe reasons. :)   The other day, my daughter asked if she’s still going to get the present she asked from Santa.  All the while, I thought she has already forgotten about it!  Hmmm….I have to check with the elves. *sigh*

If the Wii Fit is to be believed, my center of balance is perfectly balanced…at least on that fateful 1st of March. :)   For about two to three weeks in January, I regularly got on the Wii balance board for some “Wii Fitting”.  I have since moved on to more challenging, calorie torching exercises.  I now mostly  use the Wii Balance Board as a weighing scale.  Hee hee.  Still, I get to do a Body Test every now and then, like on this day when, after 2 years of owning the Wii Fit, I finally achieved perfect balance. Regular exercise and women vitamins did it for me…or so I think.

I have turned into a tea drinker.  Don’t get me wrong, I still love my coffee.  But for now, I only take coffee every once in a while.  I now keep a variety of caffeine-free tea (mostly green tea) in our cupboard.  Why the switch?  Green tea’s health benefits, of course!  Everyday, in addition to at least an hour of exercise and taking the best multivitamin, I also make sure I drink a cup or two of green tea. ;)

We have become big fans of flatbreads…whole wheat flatbreads, to be more specific.  I use them to make guilt-free pizzas and wraps like the ones in the above photo.  They’re perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.  Before I discovered whole wheat flatbreads at Costco, I used whole wheat tortillas to make my wraps.   My favorite wrap to make is the Tuna Salad Wrap. It’s homemade tuna spread and spring mix veggies wrapped in a flatbread.  How’s that for a slimming wrap?  It is healthy, filling and low calorie. Yey me! *wink*
