Believe me,  Abby looks exactly like me when I was a little girl, and that is not something I merely imagined. :)  I readily admit, however, that Abby is A LOT more beautiful than I ever was and ever will be.

Maniwala kayo, hindi ko kathang isip na magkamukha kami ng aking anak na si Abby. :D  Si Abby ay AKO noong bata ako. Ngunit hindi ko ipagkakailang milya-milya ang layo ng ganda ng anak ko sa akin.

My Mom, being an entrepreneur for the last twenty or so years, has always encouraged my brother and me, and our better halves, of course, to get into a business of our own, too.  We really would like to someday.  Puttiing up a business requires a lot of planning, decision making, not to mention capital.  Should we franchise or establish our own?  What should we sell?  And so on and so forth.  For now, there’s no need to rush really.  We each have our dream businesses and God willing, our dreams will come true…each and everyone of them. :)

When we went to Kuala Lumpur in 2005, we made sure that all 5 kids in our entourage had loads of fun.  One of the first places we visited was Cosmo’s World Theme Park.  It is the largest indoor theme park in Malaysia and is one of the Berjara Times Square’s main attractions.  Just how big is it exactly?  133,000 square feet big!

Cosmo’s World is divided into two main themed areas, the Galaxy Station which caters mainly to teenagers and adults, and the Fantasy Garden, which caters to the younger ones.  It is at the Galaxy Station where the adrenaline pumping rides can be found.  I remember that my brother, Edward, lost his PDA (personal digital assistant) because of that one ride where he and my hubby were upside down a couple of times.  :D Tsk tsk.  We spent most of our time at the Fantasy Garden.

It’s just too bad that when we made that trip to Malaysia, I wasn’t blogging yet.  That means, I didn’t quite take photos at every stop and turn like I do now.  Hee hee.  Anyway, here’s what I was able to dig up from my photo archives…

There were two other theme parks that we visited during our 5-day holiday in Malaysia.  They’re next on my “regular” blogging agenda.  Hee hee.

Hopefully, too, in the near future, we all get to travel together to Orlando, Florida, Disney World Tickets on hand.

One of the most memorable trips we ever took was to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia from 28 April to 02 May 2005. It was the very first time my entire family travelled together outside the Philippines.  There was 10 of us all in all: My Mom, my family of 3 and my brother’s family of 6. 

First to board were families travelling with children.

Abby was only 8 months old.

That time, we took advantage of the cheap flights being offered by Air Asia, which was just starting to introduce flights to and from Clark in Pampanga to Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.  If I remember correctly, we paid  less than Php 4000.00 per head.  Abby’s fare was only around Php 300.00 because she was only  8 months old that time and sat on my lap.

It was our first time to use a so-called “budget airline”.  Seats were first-come first-served and if one wants to eat something during the flight, food will have to be paid for.  Hee hee.  Since we were travelling with kids, it wasn’t a problem that we didn’t have reserved seats.  We were first to board the plane.  That’s one of the advantages of travelling with children. ;)

This is the second installment of my trip back in time…4 years ago, to what is referred to as the Philippines’ Queen City of the South, Cebu.  In case you missed the first part, you can find it HERE.

We stayed at the Shangri-la Mactan Island Resort.  Too bad for hubby, because he had to work all the time, while my Mom, Abby and I spent all our time just chillin’.  Hee hee.  Times like this don’t really come by often.

Abby, as always, got royal treatment.  She got massages from her Mimi.

Most of the time, I took pics of Abby.  We covered practically every corner of our room.

While my Mom read the dailies at the balcony, Abby kept her company.

We rarely left the hotel except for meals in nearby restaurants and a trip to SM when my Mom’s friend invited us for dinner.  The hotel has a shuttle bus which took guests to the city.

The hotel had an enormous Christmas tree at the lobby.  We took a couple of pictures here, of course!  Hahaha. 

Nope, I didn’t get a massage.  :)  I did want to get one, but Abby and I are practically stuck with each other.

We didn’t do any swimmig, too.  Hee hee.  I know what you’re thinking….”What a waste!”.  Not really.  For once, we were able to enjoy staying in a hotel.  The breeze, fresh air and the view were just glorious.  No need to swim really.  Haha.

Everyday, we soaked in the view of the white sands, the sound of the waves, and just about everything that’s missing in Manila.

There’s nothing wrong with the camera. :)  While we were taking pictures at the hotel grounds, dark clouds caught up with us and it started to drizzle.

This is us on the flight home.  For almost three years, this blue nursing bib, which I alternated with a red one, was a constant part of my wardrobe.  Anytime, anywhere, I’m ready to nurse.

We didn’t really get to see much of Cebu during that trip, but we had fun just the same.  Besides, we really chose to make the most out of our hotel stay, which wasn’t exactly cheap anyway.

Where should I take you next?  Hmmm.

This is my Mom’s Mii.   We created this for her the day we bought our Wii sometime in November.  We are very pleased with the very close resemblance of this Mii with Mimi (how Abby fondly calls my Mom).  Hee hee!  My Mom did spend a good amount of time playing the Wii.  And we’re very sure she had a lot of fun!

Ito ang Mii ng aking Mommy.  Ginawa namin ito para sa kaniya noong araw na binili namin ang Wii, buwan ng Nobyemre ng nakaraang taon.  Natutuwa kami dahil sa napakalapit na pagkakahawig ng Mii at ni Mimi (ang tawag ni Abby sa aking Mommy).  Nagkaroon ng maraming pagkakataong makapaglaro ng Wii si Mommy noong siya’y naririto.  At alam kong talaga namang nasiyahan siya.
