For more or less two weeks in January, the Wii Fit was my exercise companion. Embarrassing as it is to admit, I’ve been living a sedentary life the past three years or so. To get my body used to “moving” more again, I thought the Wii Fit was a good place to start. And it was. I’ve since moved on to more challenging and calorie torching alternatives, but the treadmill isn’t one of them. I’m proud to say that not a day goes by without me doing any form of exercise. Three cheers for me!

On Superbowl Sunday, something excited me more than the game itself…I finally got a haircut!!
Oh joy! It’s been more than a year since I went to the salon for a good trim. I don’t know why I waited so long. Funny what a haircut can do! It felt like a load was taken off my shoulders. Hee hee. For a while, I forgot about my problems with adult acne. I promised myself that I won’t wait as long anymore to get a trim.

That’s not exactly how these metal pieces sound like but how I’d love it if that were the case. Hee hee. I was organizing our closet this morning and I found this, my, err, belly dancing skirt. I bought this almost 3 years ago on E-bay. I thought then that I’d belly dance my way to fitness. Oh well. Maybe I’d be more inspired if it were gold coins dangling from the skirt. Maybe not?

February next month marks my 2nd year of self-hosting my blog sites. I consider breaking away from free web/blog hosting a personal triumph. Why? Because I knew nothing about self hosting! Terms like seo tools and html were alien to me. I’m glad I was able to take the plunge with my friend Mrs. Working Girl (*waves*).
She patiently guided me through the ins and outs of self-hosting. Today, I’d still prefer not to tinker with my websites. It’s such a blessing that my webhost turned out to be an awesome choice.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. That’s the mantra of the day as far as the kids and kids-at-heart here in Austin and its neighboring cities are concerned. The heavens did heed our call and sent us flurries…a brief and light snowfall.
I had a blast playing like a little girl outside. The real little girl was in school and herself had a blast.
Overnight, a freeze is expected. I wonder if motorhome towing services will be in demand tomorrow morning.
Keep warm and toasty, y’all! And be safe!
