Last January 12th, Hubby and I finally got to watch our very first live NBA game.  We drove to San Antonio, TX on a Tuesday night to watch the Spurs play against the LA Lakers.  We cheered for the Lakers!   Hee hee.  It wasn’t so bad going against the home-team cheering crowd.  What was a big shame, however, was that the Lakers lost…by an embarrassing 20 points!  Grrrr!  If only I could get a refund for the tickets!   Kobe got injured towards the end of the 2nd quarter, left the court and never returned. *sigh*  We learned later on that he twisted his ankle or something but was already well enough to play against the Dallas Mavericks the next day.  I’m sure he was given the best care without any need forMedicare supplement insurance.We hope to watch the Lakers play again soon.  And we hope the next time, they win…so we get what we paid for.  Hee hee.

.  Kidding.  Hee hee.  I used my usual photo taking apparatus, of course.   I was seated right behind them and they all just looked adorable waiting to go up the stage again.  There was a short break after the ballet portion.  At this point, the stage was being readied for the tap portion of the recital.  All the girls looked lovely in their shiny pink leotards, frilly tutu and their princess crowns.  I am already looking forward to next year’s.
