These are the breathtaking views from Glacier Point at the Yosemite National Park (YNP) in California.  It was just unfortunate that it was foggy at the time of our visit.  That limited the visibility of the gorges/canyons big time!  Due to the high elevation, it was chilly at Glacier Point…chilly enough for a jacket!

From the spot where we stood, we had a perfect view of two very distinct bodies of water in the distance.  Can you spot them? ;)

Let’s close in on them a little bit more. :D

It was chilly but this hiker wouldn’t hear of wearing a jacket!

If it hadn’t been foggy, the backdrop for this photo would be even more perfect than it already is.

The world is beautiful indeed!

I have views from Brushy Creek Park, for my other Photo Hunt entry.

Happy weekend, y’all!

I took this photo on the 12th of July during the drive to Mammoth.  I used my very old point and shot Canon camera .  It was a more or less 5-hour drive (it felt like sooo much more than 5!) from West Covina.  See the road which seem to just stretch on and on and on.  Thank God for the beautiful view that kept us company the whole time!

The second photo was taken in Mammoth.  It can get empty during the summer.  But I hear that’s not the case during winter because Mammoth, after all, is a winter destination. :D

I have another photo hunt entry HERE.  Visit other photo hunters here.

Have a wonderful week, y’all! :D

I haven’t joined the Photo Hunt in the last 2 weeks.  I’m glad I have photos for this week’s theme, “Wild”.  The following photos were taken in March at the Natural Bridge and Wildlife Ranch in San Antonio, TX.  It was my family’s first time to experience a zoo in reverse, so to speaks, with us in the car (windows down) and the animals freely roaming around.  Abby had so much fun feeding the animals by her window.  We have to do this again.  Perhaps when the weather is more conducive for outdoor activities. :)

I have “Wild” mushrooms HERE, my other PH entry.  Do visit other PH participants here.

Have a great weekend and cheers! :D

This week’s Photo Hunt theme is “beautiful”.  And when I think beautiful, Abby, my daughter, is the first to come to mind.  That will always be the case.  So this is another stagemommy entry for me.  Hee hee. :D

This is a photo from Abby’s very first photo shoot, taken about a month after she was born.

And here is a photo collage from that same photo shoot.

Abby is no longer a baby (but she will always be to me!), but still as beautiful as ever.

I have an edible beautiful for my other Photo Hunt entry.  Visit other photo hunters here.

Have a great weekend, y’all!

I prepared these loots for my daughter’s birthday party which is just a few hours from now.  As much as I can, I tried to keep a princess theme going, a request from my 4-year old Abby.

However, I can’t very well do the same for the boys’ loots.

It kinda bothers me that it looks like the boys have more loots than the girls.  Actually, the girls have more, only they’re a little too dainty and tiny (rings, necklaces, hair accessories, et.c)  that they easily fit into the cups. :D

I specially like wrapping giveaways this way…in a see-through cellophane wrap/bag with the opening wrinkled or bunched together and tied with ribbons.  I didn’t have time to use and tie curly ribbons.  I just opted for the silver wire-like ties that came with the bags. :D

I have wrinkled food for my other PH entry.  Visit other PH participants here.
